Honoring Sandrino's Sacrifice is always a good race, and this year proved no different. The course is a flat, one way 7.7 mile course in Mullica Hill. We were lucky to have very pleasant weather: sunny and warm but not humid or windy.
In the Women's Open, EPS/CSS took the top two spots on the podium, with Deborah taking the win and Andy only 13 or so seconds behind her. Barb hung tough for a 5th place in a fast field. Nikki Ragonese continued to capture podium spots with a 2nd place in the Women's Cat 4. Sue had to deal with some random cyclists on the course, playing leapfrog with her (and getting her way), while offering unsolicited advice about her position on the bike. She tried to stay focused despite this, and hung in for 4th place in the Eddy field.
As usual, our winnings were donated back to the Honoring Sandrino's Sacrifice Fund.
