Today the ladies of Team EPS/CSS p/b Shebell&Shebell would like to introduce you to our all around powerhouse Deborah Leedale-Brown. Deborah hails from Jolly ol' England but we sure are glad she lives here in the US now and races with us!! Check out what Deb had to say when we asked her a few questions about cycling and other things!!
What is your most embarrassing “on the bike” moment?
At university ( we are talking 23yrs ago) I rode my bike everywhere, one day someone maybe Damon challenged me to ride all the way to campus (about 4miles) without putting my feet down. I was managing well via holding onto cars and trucks at traffic lights, then at one set of lights I rested my hand onto the passenger side car window, only to find the window was completely wound down and i feel into the car still attached to my bike. The driver had to get out of his car and come around to pull me back out!
Little known fact most people don’t know about you?
While I was working as a personal trainer in a top London healthclub, I was the trainer to Diana Princess of Wales.
What advice do you have for the next generation of women cyclists?
Choose riders who are better than you to learn from and don't be afraid to put yourself into challenging rides/races/training situations
